D-Number
If you are going to sit on the board of a Norwegian company, own shares or do business in Norway, you need a Norwegian identity number. If you do not have a Norwegian national identity number, we apply for a D-number for you with the Norwegian Tax Administration (Skatteetaten). You send us the documents and we take care of the rest.

We register you as a board member, chair of the board or managing director in the Register of Business Enterprises, and submit the notifications to the Brønnøysund Register Centre.

How to get a D-number through Aksjefabrikken
We speak Norwegian, English and German. Get in touch if you have questions before you order.
1. Order
Fill in the order form with information about yourself and what you need the D-number for.
2. Pay
You pay in NOK when you order and receive an order confirmation by email.
3. Send identification
Send us a certified copy of your passport or national ID card by post. We will tell you which type of certification is accepted from your country.
4. Customer due diligence
We verify your identity, as required by the Norwegian Anti-Money Laundering Act.
5. We apply
We send the D-number application to the Norwegian Tax Administration.
6. Done
The Norwegian Tax Administration assigns the D-number. We let you know, and you can use the number for companies, board positions and registrations in Norway.
